Job Description

Fidelity Vacanciesch  – CIT Team Leader

Fidelity is seeking a CIT Team Leader for the Mafikeng branch. This role supports the Operations Manager in overseeing Cash in Transit (CIT) operations, ensuring all procedures and schedules are followed efficiently and securely.

Minimum Requirements

  • Clear criminal record
  • PSIRA accreditation (minimum Grade C)
  • Valid CIT certificate
  • Firearm competency (minimum handgun qualification for business purposes)
  • Computer literacy is essential
  • At least 3 years of experience in the security industry or a similar role (experience within FSG is an advantage)
  • CIT management or supervisory experience is beneficial
  • Valid driver’s license and own transport are advantageous
  • Ability to work under pressure and outside regular hours
  • Clear disciplinary record

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure full responsibility and accountability for the CIT vehicle, including reporting mechanical faults, refueling, and maintaining security systems and cleanliness
  • Assist with daily operational requirements and ensure scheduled CIT movements are secure
  • Drive the CIT vehicle when required (if applicable)
  • Prevent and report accidents, security incidents, and suspicious activities
  • Maintain constant communication with controllers and management
  • Conduct security drills and enforce security awareness among staff
  • Liaise with clients and management to ensure service excellence
  • Complete all required documentation, including daily rosters and reports
  • Report any delays to the Operations Manager immediately
  • Ensure compliance with risk management procedures and operational policies
