Job Description

Fidelity Vacanciesch  – CIT Team Leader

Fidelity is seeking a CIT Team Leader for the Rustenburg branch. This role supports the Operations Manager in overseeing Cash in Transit (CIT) operations, ensuring they are conducted efficiently, securely, and in line with company procedures.

Minimum Requirements

  • Clear criminal record
  • PSIRA accreditation (minimum Grade C)
  • Valid Cash in Transit (CIT) certificate
  • Firearm competency (minimum handgun qualification for business purposes)
  • Computer literacy is essential
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the security industry or a similar role (experience within FSG is an advantage)
  • CIT management or supervisory experience is beneficial
  • Valid driver’s license and own transport are advantageous
  • Ability to work under pressure and outside regular hours
  • Clear disciplinary record

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for CIT vehicle operations, including reporting mechanical faults, refueling, operating security systems, and ensuring vehicle cleanliness
  • Assist with daily operational requirements and ensure CIT schedules are followed during transit
  • Drive the CIT vehicle when required
  • Prevent and report accidents and security risks
  • Maintain constant contact with controllers
  • Conduct security drills and maintain high security awareness
  • Take proactive measures to mitigate potential threats or suspicious activity
  • Liaise with clients, management, and staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Complete necessary documentation and administrative tasks, including daily rosters and reports
  • Immediately report any delays or operational issues to the Operations Manager
  • Oversee risk management and compliance within CIT operations
