A vacancy exists for a CIT Custodian at our Rustenburg Branch. The main responsibility of this position is to ensure the efficient management of Cash in Transit (CIT) operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Clear criminal record
• PSIRA accreditation with a minimum Grade C qualification
• Cash In Transit (CIT) certificate
• Firearm competency, minimum handgun qualification (for business purposes)
• Computer literacy (compulsory)
• At least 5 years of experience in the Cash in Transit industry or a similar role (Advantageous at FSG)
• CIT management/supervisory experience is advantageous
• Knowledge of HR/IR
• Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 quality management and its requirements
• Knowledge of Transtrack
• Strong planning, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license and own transport
• Ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to work irregular hours
• Clear disciplinary record

Key Performance Areas:

• Manage all operational aspects of the branch’s client base through daily communication, instructions, and follow-up with employees
• Ensure clients are serviced according to contractual agreements
• Foster and maintain good relationships between the branch and its clients
• Manage staff and enhance client retention
• Oversee risk management and ensure all administrative tasks related to daily operations are completed
• Take full responsibility for the vehicle, including reporting mechanical faults, refueling, operating security systems, and ensuring cleanliness
• Prevent accidents and report incidents promptly
• Take preventative actions against any suspicious activity
• Liaise with management and staff regularly
• Handle HR/IR-related issues and manage personnel accordingly
• Oversee Transtrack duties and ensure secure management of CIT schedules during transit
