Job Description:
BUCO Middelburg is seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle transactions accurately, and maintain a balanced till. Key responsibilities include:

• Greeting and assisting customers with their purchases
• Processing sales by ringing up purchases and accepting various payment methods
• Issuing accurate receipts and providing correct change
• Balancing the till at the end of each shift
• Maintaining positive public relations and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Upholding and promoting the company values and culture

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Proficiency in English
• Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Friendly, helpful, and polite demeanor
• Knowledge of building materials is an advantage
• 2-3 years of cashier experience preferred
• Basic computer skills
