Job Description:
Fidelity Cash Solutions (FCS) is seeking a dedicated Cash Centre Supervisor for our Parow Branch. The primary role of this position is to ensure that all cash deposits are processed according to agreements and to maintain consistent, high-quality counting and verification services by supervising relevant staff.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Clear criminal record
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Computer literate
  • At least 2 years of experience in a cash centre or similar role
  • Treasury experience is advantageous
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Willingness to work additional hours when required
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve any challenges

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the opening and closing of the Cash Centre, where applicable
  • Ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Oversee the counting and verification of money
  • Ensure accurate balancing and reconciliation of cash
  • Recount money in case of discrepancies
  • Keep daily reports and statistics up to date
  • Ensure all relevant documents are completed, neat, and properly filed
  • Ensure physical counts match schedules and that registers are signed daily
  • Handle incident reports as per procedure
  • Address all client queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Prioritize client satisfaction and ensure quality service
  • Enforce discipline within the Cash Centre
  • Take accountability for the Cash Centre in the absence of the Manager
