Fidelity Vacanciesch  – Cash Centre Supervisor- Durban

Fidelity is seeking a Cash Centre Supervisor to join the team at the Durban Branch. This role reports to the Branch Manager and is responsible for ensuring that all deposits are processed according to agreements, while maintaining high-quality counting and verification services.

Minimum Requirements

  • Clear criminal record
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Computer literacy
  • At least two years of experience in a cash centre or similar role is an advantage
  • Treasury experience is beneficial
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask
  • Willingness to work extra hours when required
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve operational challenges

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the opening and closing of the cash centre when required
  • Ensure adherence to standard operational procedures
  • Count and verify money accurately
  • Balance and reconcile cash transactions
  • Recount money when discrepancies occur
  • Maintain up-to-date reports and statistics
  • Ensure proper documentation is completed, neat, and correctly filed
  • Verify that all schedules balance with the physical cash count
  • Ensure daily use and signing of all relevant registers
  • Handle incident reports as required
  • Address client queries professionally and efficiently
  • Maintain high levels of client satisfaction
  • Enforce basic discipline within the cash centre
  • Take full accountability for the assigned cash centre in the absence of a manager
