Description
Purpose:
As a Buyer Cellular, you will be responsible for managing and expanding the product portfolio for our cellular and technology products. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure sustained growth of the product and portfolio, ensuring all projects are implemented within scope, time, and cost parameters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Management: Oversee multiple product lines across different categories within the cellular and technology portfolio.
  • Supplier Relations: Negotiate and build constructive relationships and contracts with service providers and suppliers.
  • Product Development: Identify and introduce new concepts or variations of current products to enhance the business offering.
  • Business Cases: Compile detailed business cases for current and potential initiatives to support decision-making and strategy.
  • Marketing Support: Provide guidance and input into the marketing plans for products and portfolios.
  • Process Communication: Develop and communicate product processes and procedures to field personnel.
  • Strategic Input: Offer strategic insights to support the department’s growth and strategy plans.
  • Project Management: Manage ad hoc projects as needed, ensuring successful implementation and alignment with overall goals.

Requirements

  • Education: Grade 12 with commercial tertiary qualifications.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of related work experience in a similar role.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office and Excel; Google Sheets experience is advantageous.
    • Excellent negotiation and project management skills.
    • Strong administrative capabilities.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel and work outside traditional hours when required.
