Job Description:

As a Buyer – BUCO Blackheath, you will be responsible for managing product purchasing, ensuring adequate stock levels, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the purchasing process for a wide range of products.
  • Monitoring and addressing out-of-stock and low-stock items.
  • Handling administrative duties related to procurement.
  • Following up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Providing coaching and support to team members.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Promoting and upholding the company’s values and culture.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (essential).
  • A post-school qualification (NQF 5) with a focus on Retail or Procurement (desirable).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a computerized retail environment (essential).
