Job Description

Sanlam is seeking skilled Business Insurance Specialists to join our team. This hybrid role is based in KwaZulu-Natal, focusing on both Commercial and Personal Lines insurance. The successful candidate will identify clients’ insurance needs, provide tailored solutions, and deliver exceptional service. This role offers competitive remuneration, an attractive commission structure, and the necessary tools of the trade to excel.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • NQF4/Matric/Standard 10
  • FAIS credits or full insurance qualifications (depending on DOFA)
  • Regulatory Exams (RE5) completed
  • Own reliable transport
  • Valid code B driver’s license

Minimum Experience Required:

  • At least 2 years of experience in the commercial insurance industry
  • At least 2 years of experience in face-to-face business engagements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute business strategies and achieve key deliverables
  • Actively source and grow a client portfolio
  • Deliver world-class service to ensure client retention and minimize lapses
  • Screen new business to align with MiWay’s risk pool requirements
  • Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders
