Key Responsibilities

As a Business Development Consultant, you will:

  • Drive Business Growth: Expand Simeka Health’s corporate client base by meeting and exceeding defined sales targets.
  • Engage and Build Relationships: Develop strong, enduring relationships with new and existing clients, positioning Simeka Health as their preferred health advisory partner.
  • Strategic Input: Contribute to the business growth strategy by researching corporate employer needs and market trends.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about competitors and changes in the corporate landscape to identify new opportunities.
  • Solution Development: Provide expert advice to help employers achieve their health and wellness objectives for employees.
  • Client Onboarding: Oversee onboarding processes in collaboration with product partners and service teams.
  • Risk and Governance: Adhere to sound practices, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster relationships within Simeka Health to ensure seamless client servicing.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Post-matric qualification (Degree preferred).
  • Certifications: RE5, FAIS, and CMS accreditation.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in corporate healthcare sales.
  • Requirements: Valid driver’s license and own car.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of healthcare products and services.
  • Familiarity with financial services processes and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Competitor analysis and strategic market knowledge.
