Value Vacancies – Business and Solutions Analyst
Value is recruiting for a skilled and driven Business and Solutions Analyst to support the end-to-end delivery of partner integrations, new solutions, and system optimisations. As a key member of the IT Applications team, the Business and Solutions Analyst will be responsible for driving technical implementations that connect suppliers, principals, and retailers to the Value processing platform. This includes managing API integrations, microservices, and ensuring real-time data exchange for seamless supply chain operations.
The role is a blend of business process analysis, technical solution design, pre-sales consultancy, and hands-on project execution. It plays a crucial part in enabling scalable, consistent, and cost-effective integrations across Value’s growing customer and partner base.
This position requires a balance of strategic insight, technical fluency, and practical project delivery. Reporting directly to the CIO, the Business and Solutions Analyst will act as a functional expert, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to align system functionality with business goals.
Key Responsibilities

Develop a strong understanding of the Value processing platform to guide integration initiatives

Deliver pre-sales consultancy in collaboration with sales and business teams, providing technical insight and proposed integration frameworks

Design end-to-end technical solutions for principals, suppliers, and customers, ensuring business alignment and platform consistency

Create and maintain project plans for each integration, coordinating internal resources and third parties

Manage technical onboarding processes including connectivity setup, file exchange, DEV and UNIT testing coordination, and documentation for go-live

Analyse existing business processes, propose improvements, and define new workflows to support technical implementation

Ensure projects are executed on time, on spec, and within scope, with continuous stakeholder communication

Lead solution scoping, documentation, and training for user teams post-implementation

Act as a functional expert to resolve integration-related issues and support internal and external technical queries

Promote standardisation, system consistency, and quality across all projects and solutions

Provide regular progress reporting to the CIO and other stakeholders

Contribute to broader IT and business initiatives as needed
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric)

Proven track record in partner integration projects, ideally in supply chain, logistics, or retail environments

Strong project management capabilities with experience handling multiple concurrent projects

Fluent in English, both written and verbal
Skills Required

Experience designing, specifying, or developing IT-based solutions

Familiarity with integration protocols and methods (e.g., APIs, file-based transfers)

Understanding of business operations and the ability to map technical needs to business processes

Background in process analysis and systems testing

Ability to deliver training to diverse audiences, from operational staff to executive leadership
