SAB Vacancies – Brewing Process Operator

SAB is seeking a detail-oriented Brewing Process Operator to join our brewing team. The role involves operating brewing equipment and associated processes, conducting quality control checks, and supporting the Brewing Technician Artisan with asset care activities. This position requires a hands-on approach to ensure production quality and efficiency during each shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Operations: Implement and monitor the production plan for your shift, utilizing the correct tools and adhering to VPO (Value-Driven Operations) standards like OWS, Team Rooms, and 5S. Maintain production quality and control waste.
• Quality Control: Perform regular quality checks and analyses to ensure brewing process quality and productivity. Address any deviations promptly.
• Team Coordination: Work collaboratively with your shift team to ensure a safe and effective workplace. Communicate clearly and follow escalation procedures when needed to minimize downtime.
• Administrative Tasks: Ensure all administrative processes are completed on time according to VPO standards. Contribute to team development and maintain accurate records.
• Problem-Solving: Apply problem-solving techniques when necessary and take appropriate action as soon as issues arise. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Development and Training: Commit to your own development plan, ensuring compliance with training requirements, and support CAP (Corrective Action Plan) execution.

Qualifications and Experience:

• National Diploma or equivalent.
• Completed IST traineeship.
• Minimum 12 months of on-the-job training in the SCAP process.
• At least 5 years of experience in a brewing or process-controlled manufacturing environment, preferably in FMCG food products.
• Understanding of the brewing value chain from raw material transfer to BBT, including E&F through to Packaging.
• Proficiency with PC applications (Microsoft/SAP).
