The Brand Manager will be responsible for driving and supporting the annual promotional and communications calendar, ensuring that all campaigns are delivered on time and meet their objectives as outlined in the Marketing operating plan. This role will manage the alignment of all marketing elements to ensure they reflect the brand identity, including above-the-line campaigns (e.g., TV campaigns), below-the-line activities (in-store activations, promotional executions), and online initiatives (social media, website, and online campaigns).

Key responsibilities include managing the marketing budgets to ensure that all campaigns are implemented in a cost-effective manner over the short and medium term. The Brand Manager will also build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders (such as merchandise, stores, advertising agencies, and leadership teams) and external partners (suppliers, online platforms, production teams) to deliver marketing communications that meet customer expectations.

Maintaining brand integrity is essential, and the Brand Manager will evaluate the impact of all branding decisions against the overarching brand strategy. Additionally, the role involves continuously monitoring marketing trends, making recommendations to keep the brand relevant, and measuring and reporting on the performance of marketing campaigns to ensure objectives are met and to recommend enhancements where needed.

The Brand Manager will also be tasked with conceptualising, designing, delivering, and implementing marketing communication campaigns that align with the business objectives and overall brand strategy.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

Formal Qualification:

  • Marketing Degree/Diploma

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of marketing management experience in a retail environment

  • 2-3 years of Brand Management experience

  • 5 years of stakeholder management experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing

Knowledge:

  • In-depth working knowledge of the media and advertising environment

  • Understanding of product marketing and merchandise deliverables

  • Knowledge of competitive awareness and the ability to differentiate customer offerings

Skills:
