Position Overview

Tiger Brands is seeking an experienced Brand Manager: Dilutables to manage and grow iconic brands like Rose’s, Hall’s, Brookes, Low-Cal, Tru-Lem, and Sixo. Reporting to a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving both short- and medium-term sustainable growth through innovative brand strategies and exceptional execution. This role requires leveraging consumer and shopper insights to develop compelling brand plans and delivering memorable brand experiences through innovation, communication, and activation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate marketing insights into clear, actionable brand plans, encompassing category strategy, pricing, channel strategies, promotions, and innovation to achieve growth targets in volume, value, and profit.
  • Develop and deliver insight-driven innovations and renovations that align with brand and category growth objectives. This includes product, packaging, trade solutions, and communication strategies.
  • Partner with Consumer Insights to generate brand-relevant insights from market analytics, competitive intelligence, and consumer behavior data.
  • Lead creative agencies through the development of communication strategies for your brands, ensuring that campaigns align with the brand blueprint.
  • Execute day-to-day brand management tasks, including sales and operations planning (S&OP) forecasting, media planning, tracking customer promotions, managing marketing investment spend, and monitoring brand health and market share.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Well-rounded experience in consumer goods marketing, ideally including customer marketing roles.
  • Consumer-focused and insight-driven, with a curious mindset and a deep understanding of consumer behavior within the category.
  • Strategic and financially savvy, capable of developing and executing plans to grow the brand, with a keen understanding of trade-offs and business impact.
  • Strong knowledge of route-to-market strategies, covering both modern and general trade channels.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in brand management, with a proven track record of working across functions to deliver marketing excellence and brand growth.
  • BBusSci/BCom degree or similar qualification preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in brand development and bringing innovative ideas to market based on deep consumer insights.
  • Experience working with beverage brands will be advantageous.
