Purpose of the Role:
House & Home, a division of The Shoprite Group and Africa’s largest retailer, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Branch Manager to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive branch sales performance to meet and exceed targets.
- Oversee stock management, ensuring accurate inventory control.
- Lead and motivate branch staff, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
- Deliver excellent customer service that exceeds expectations.
- Manage cash handling and all cash management activities within the branch.
- Regularly report on branch activities, performance, and key data.
- Support the regional budgeting process with valuable input.
- Implement and monitor daily management controls for smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Essential: Matric
- Preferred: Retail Management Diploma
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years in a retail furniture environment.
- At least 3 years of experience in people management.
- Proven success in managing sales teams for at least 3 years.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficiency in retail systems and report analysis.
- Computer literacy.
- Strong understanding of stock control systems.
- Interest and knowledge in household appliances and furniture.
