About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Drive and monitor sales performance to achieve branch targets.
  • Stock Management: Oversee all stock control functions to ensure optimal stock levels and efficient processes.
  • Team Management: Lead and develop branch staff, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure exceptional service standards to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Cash Control: Manage all cash-handling activities in line with company policies.
  • Performance Reporting: Regularly report on branch activities and key metrics.
  • Budgeting & Financial Oversight: Support the regional budgeting process with data-driven insights.
  • Operational Controls: Implement daily management controls to optimize branch efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Matric (essential)
  • Retail Management Diploma (advantageous)

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a retail furniture environment
  • Proven people management experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong background in managing sales teams to drive performance

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in retail systems and reporting
  • Strong computer skills
  • Knowledge of stock management systems
  • Interest in household appliances and furniture
