What Will You Do?
As a Branch Consultant / Financial Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in promoting Sanlam Retail Mass (SRM) products, growing market share, and delivering exceptional client service. Your responsibilities include:
- Financial Advice and Sales Delivery:
- Understand SRM product offerings and client needs.
- Recommend tailored financial solutions to meet clients’ financial goals.
- Keep clients informed about new products or changes to existing ones.
- Ensure compliance with product and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct due diligence to identify and mitigate risks.
- Client Service and Retention:
- Maintain strong client relationships by managing profiles and ensuring consistent communication.
- Address client queries, follow up on issues, and provide in-branch support.
- Promote persistency in client payments through proactive engagement.
- Quality, Compliance, and Development:
- Stay updated on compliance, quality standards, and professional development requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of advice and activities.
- Identify and escalate risks, including potential fraudulent activities.
- Reporting and Planning:
- Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly activities.
- Assist the Retail Branch Manager with ad-hoc tasks as required.
What Will Make You Successful?
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric (Grade 12).
- RE5 and FAIS compliance advantageous.
- 1 year of experience in sales or marketing, preferably within insurance branches.
- Class of Business training (to be completed within 12 months of employment).
- Knowledge and Skills:
- Expertise in broker support, administration, and business building.
- Strong interpersonal and partnership-building skills.
- Personal Attributes:
- Business insight and decision quality.
- Effective planning and team-building capabilities.
- Customer-focused and results-driven.
