Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Beauty Trading Manager to maximize profit by supporting Regional and Store Managers while developing Beauty Managers to ensure that targets are met in line with the Beauty strategy.
Job Description

Manage profitability through monthly Regional and Store Manager reviews and Quarterly reviews with Head Office (HO) and the Divisional Leadership Team (DLT).

Participate in the budgeting and expense processes for the financial year to ensure that division budgets align with Beauty targets.

Set, manage, communicate, execute, and consolidate stretch targets by region and store for key promotions such as the Beauty Festival, Colour Festival, and Fragrance Fair.

Provide weekly trade feedback to the Trading Manager.

Analyze customer and competitor activity, offering weekly insights to the Head Office Team and DLT.

Motivate, support, and influence all Beauty Stores within the division to achieve BP1 and promotional stretch targets through frequent interaction.

Build strong relationships with DLT, Store Managers, Beauty Managers, Textile Managers, Suppliers, and Head Office to support BP1 target performance.

Lead monthly Beauty Manager and Beauty Consultant meetings to drive sales and ensure the execution of national, regional, and ad hoc events as per the seasonal strategy and promotions for Brands and Private Label products.

Develop and support Beauty Managers in their growth into business unit managers and influence store structure to support the role of the Beauty Manager.

Collaborate with the Beauty Trainer to execute the Woolworths Beauty strategy, assisting Beauty Managers and Consultants in driving top-line performance.

Identify and manage beauty catalogue threats and opportunities for stores within the division, equipping stores to manage stock levels efficiently.

Provide feedback to the Sales Manager to ensure the successful execution of model stores, trading notes, store openings and revamps, new and existing brands, special occasion floor plans, and department layouts and equipment.

Assist with the entry and exit of brands as required.
Minimum Requirements

5+ years of beauty management retail experience with a proven ability to motivate and lead a sales team.

Relevant diploma or degree in marketing, selling, and/or beauty management.

A valid code 08 Driver’s Licence is essential.

In-depth retail knowledge with a thorough understanding of beauty brands and products.

Strong understanding of the beauty process, including customer loyalty generation and achieving growth and service levels.

Training and coaching experience.

Knowledge of store operations and strong merchandising skills.

Computer literacy.

Assertive communication skills with a keen attention to detail.

Strong planning and organizational skills.
