Job Purpose:
The Beauty Assistant at Grey Owl is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by providing professional advice on beauty and skincare products. This role involves managing merchandise effectively, promoting products, and ensuring high standards of housekeeping to build customer loyalty and maximize sales.
Job Objectives:

Consult with customers, answer product-related questions, and provide advice to help them select the best beauty and skincare products and services.

Drive and maximize sales in the beauty department by promoting, cross-selling, and up-selling to consistently meet monthly sales targets.

Monitor sales performance, evaluate product offerings, and provide suggestions for improvement to increase sales.

Stay informed on all beauty products, ranges, trends, promotions, and events to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers.

Execute all operational activities in the beauty department efficiently, including stock management, minimizing shrinkage, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping and administration.

Ensure that visual merchandising, in-store presentation, and promotional standards are consistently met in the beauty department.

Deliver superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador, being visible, and offering friendly, professional service.

Promote the Clicks ClubCard and enroll new members to achieve participation targets.

Increase profitability and brand loyalty through the promotion of private label and exclusive products.

Contribute to the company’s vision of becoming the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer by upholding and promoting company values.

Desirable: Relevant beauty or skincare qualification
Experience:

Desirable: Experience in a beauty, skincare, retail, FMCG, sales, or marketing environment
