Job Purpose:
The Beauty Advisor is responsible for delivering service excellence by providing professional and knowledgeable advice on beauty and skincare products. This role involves the promotion and effective management of merchandise, ensuring general housekeeping standards are maintained, and ultimately building customer loyalty to maximize sales.
Job Objectives:

Consult with customers, answer product-based questions, and advise on the best beauty and skincare products and services to meet their needs.

Drive and maximize sales in the beauty department through effective promotion, cross-selling, and up-selling to meet monthly targets consistently.

Monitor sales performance, evaluate products regularly, and suggest improvements to increase sales and product offerings.

Keep up to date with the latest beauty trends, products, promotions, and events to provide customers with accurate and relevant information.

Efficiently manage all operational activities within the beauty department, including stock management, minimizing shrinkage, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping and administration.

Ensure all visual merchandising, in-store presentation, and promotional standards in the beauty department are consistently met.

Deliver superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador, being visible, and providing friendly, professional service.

Promote the Clicks clubcard and enroll new members to achieve clubcard participation targets.

Increase profitability and brand loyalty by promoting private label and exclusive products.

Help position Clicks as the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer by embodying and promoting company values.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Essential: Grade 12

Desirable: Relevant beauty/skincare qualification

Desirable: Experience in beauty/skincare, retail, FMCG, sales, or marketing environment
