Job Overview

The BDR 1 role is responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributor relationships, and ensuring strong brand presence across assigned territories. The position focuses on achieving sales targets, maintaining product availability, and supporting effective merchandising strategies within retail and customer outlets.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets and performance objectives within the assigned territory.
• Manage and supervise distributors in the allocated sector, including order management, payment coordination, and product redistribution.
• Ensure company products are consistently available and stocked across customer locations and retail outlets with a complete product range.
• Maintain strong merchandising standards by ensuring brand visibility through point-of-sale materials and refrigeration equipment.
• Ensure chillers are correctly positioned in high-performing outlets and used exclusively for company products.
• Monitor retail pricing to ensure recommended product pricing is maintained across sales outlets.
• Observe and analyze competitor activities within the market and report insights to support strategic decision-making.

Education

• Three-year degree qualification.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales, marketing, or FMCG environment.

Key Attributes & Competencies

• Valid Code 8 driver’s license with no endorsements.
• Basic computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of the local market and territory.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
