Job Description
Food Lovers Market is seeking a dedicated Barista to join our Streatery team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages to our customers. You will work closely with fellow Baristas to take orders, craft drinks, and provide exceptional service. This role reports directly to the Streatery Manager and requires flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages that meet our quality standards.
• Maintain and handle all equipment properly to ensure optimal performance.
• Address customer orders, questions, and concerns with politeness and efficiency.
• Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions, following cash handling procedures.
• Operate a point of sale (POS) system to process orders and payments effectively.
• Deliver quick and exceptional customer service, exceeding customer expectations.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings to help customers make informed choices.
• Adhere to health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and hygienic workstation.
• Stay informed about promotions and advertisements to provide accurate information to customers.
• Create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for both customers and coworkers.
• Show professionalism and attention to detail in all tasks and interactions.
