Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of store associates, fostering a positive and goal-driven work environment.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by coaching and training staff to meet high service standards.
  • Support sales growth by implementing effective sales strategies and monitoring key performance indicators.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stock ordering, receiving, replenishment, and loss prevention.
  • Maintain strong visual merchandising standards to enhance the in-store shopping experience.
  • Oversee store operations, including cash handling, security measures, and daily procedures.
  • Train and develop team members to improve product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and operational challenges effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and safety regulations.
  • Assist in generating reports on sales, stock management, and performance analytics.
  • Contribute to merchandising planning, marketing initiatives, and promotional campaigns.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and record-keeping.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to execute business strategies and step in as needed.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ retail experience.
  • Management experience is an advantage.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills.
  • Budgeting and business acumen in retail.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Understanding of retail operations, branding, and product merchandising.
