Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of store associates, fostering a positive and goal-driven work environment.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by coaching and training staff to meet high service standards.
- Support sales growth by implementing effective sales strategies and monitoring key performance indicators.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock ordering, receiving, replenishment, and loss prevention.
- Maintain strong visual merchandising standards to enhance the in-store shopping experience.
- Oversee store operations, including cash handling, security measures, and daily procedures.
- Train and develop team members to improve product knowledge and sales skills.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and operational challenges effectively.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and safety regulations.
- Assist in generating reports on sales, stock management, and performance analytics.
- Contribute to merchandising planning, marketing initiatives, and promotional campaigns.
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and record-keeping.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
- Work closely with the Store Manager to execute business strategies and step in as needed.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ retail experience.
- Management experience is an advantage.
- Strong sales and customer service skills.
- Budgeting and business acumen in retail.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Understanding of retail operations, branding, and product merchandising.
