Mr Price Vacancies – Assistant Store Manager Mr Price Cellular
Mr Price Cellular is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations and assist in achieving sales targets, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Stock Management – Ensure accurate stock receipt, merchandising, and replenishment. Monitor stock levels and implement loss prevention strategies. Maintain stockroom organization and assist with stock adjustments, write-offs, and returns.
- Sales Growth & Profitability – Analyze sales and profitability reports to support management in driving performance. Track product performance, explore opportunities to enhance sales, and contribute to marketing initiatives. Drive credit, insurance, mobile, and cellular sales to achieve budgeted targets.
- Risk Management – Support compliance by conducting store audits, reviewing admin processes, monitoring security, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Customer Experience Management – Maintain high customer service standards through effective merchandising, promotions, pricing strategies, and store presentation. Implement feedback-driven improvements.
- Leadership & Development – Lead and develop the team to meet key performance indicators. Identify training and coaching opportunities, manage recruitment, and oversee performance management in line with company policies.
Qualifications & Experience
- NQF Level 4 (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- 3 years of retail experience (management experience advantageous).
- Strong understanding of sales and service management.
- Budgeting skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of retail trade, customer service, cellular products, mobile devices, new accounts, and insurance offerings.
