Miladys is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Assistant Store Manager to support the daily operations of the Menlyn store. This role ensures that sales targets, operational objectives, and customer service standards are consistently achieved and exceeded.

Responsibilities

Stock Management:

• Ensure accurate receiving and unpacking of stock to merchandise and replenish the sales floor.
• Monitor stock levels through stock counts, stock takes, and loss prevention measures.
• Maintain stockroom organization and housekeeping standards.
• Authorize write-offs, breakages, recalls, and returns.

Sales Growth & Profitability:

• Analyze sales and profitability reports to develop action plans and improve performance.
• Monitor product performance in-store and provide feedback to the support center.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and enhance brand awareness through in-store marketing, competitor analysis, and participation in local events.
• Promote store memberships or accounts to achieve acquisition targets where applicable.

Risk Management:

• Conduct compliance checks, including store audits, administrative reviews, and health & safety inspections.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures to minimize risks.

Customer Experience Management:

• Implement and oversee customer experience strategies to maintain high service standards.
• Manage store appearance, pricing, promotions, and markdowns to enhance the shopping experience.

Leadership & Development:

• Support and motivate the store team to achieve key performance indicators.
• Identify training and development opportunities, focusing on talent growth and succession planning.
• Assist in recruitment, performance management, and compliance with company policies.
