Job Objectives:
- Develop team leadership skills and learn to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Oversee customer service standards, housekeeping, and hygiene practices.
- Implement and supervise loss control measures.
- Monitor and enhance sales performance.
- Manage and oversee stock counts and POS operations.
- Facilitate promotional activities and communicate effectively with clients.
- Recruit and select candidates to meet store needs.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 – Essential
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managerial position.
- Proven experience in inventory management, buying, staff supervision, merchandising, and understanding business profitability.
- Familiarity with FMCG environment and related legislation is advantageous.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Expertise in managing perishable products and understanding retail consumer behavior and buying trends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with exceptional customer service and people management capabilities.
- Proficiency in business reporting and computer systems.
