Sasol careers – Artisan Process Gr 2 x3

Purpose of the Role

The Artisan Process Gr 2 x3 will coordinate and manage maintenance and repair tasks for specific processes within a production line. Responsibilities include control panel operations and performing advanced troubleshooting to ensure the reliability and efficiency of operations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide detailed feedback to supervisors regarding work progress.
  • Participate in risk assessments in compliance with legislation and company requirements to enhance safety.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and adhere to waste disposal protocols.
  • Operate independently while demonstrating strong business acumen and an understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Apply and maintain safety standards in the workplace.
  • Conduct on-the-job coaching for learners and deliver SME presentations on specific plant equipment.
  • Perform IMS inspections to ensure plant sustainability and operational efficiency.
  • Actively participate in shift handover meetings to ensure smooth operational continuity.
  • Play a critical role during emergency situations to restore plant operations.
  • Contribute to toolbox talks and daily discipline feedback to improve safety and productivity.

Qualifications and Experience

Formal Education:

  • Matric/N3 with Mathematics, English, and Physical Science
  • CHIETA NQF Level 4 Qualification

Working Experience:

  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

Licenses:

  • Valid Driver’s License
