Pep Vacancies – Area Manager – Western Cape

Purpose of the Position:
As an Area Manager, you will serve as a leader, driving sales, reducing stock losses, managing stock, leading and developing a team of Dynamos, and maintaining a low-cost culture to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales by focusing on exceptional customer service, maintaining world-class store standards, and ensuring proper stock presentation, promotional implementation, and pricing in the area.
  • Minimize stock loss by fostering a healthy store culture, following security protocols, and ensuring proper stock and cash handling procedures.
  • Manage a low-cost business by implementing efficiencies and promoting a cost-conscious culture within your area.
  • Ensure administrative duties are completed on time and in line with company guidelines, including overseeing area-specific administrative tasks.
  • Lead a dynamic team of Dynamos, taking responsibility for training, coaching, and performance in alignment with the Sikhula KunYe company culture.
  • Oversee all aspects of the people support function within the area.

Job Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant tertiary education (degree/diploma in business/retail-related field) would be an advantage.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a retail environment in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft and/or Google GSuite – advantage).
  • Valid Code 8 manual driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
