What You’ll Have Done Before

Baseline Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Sales, Retail, Fuel, Sales, or Marketing, with a focus on driving business success
  • NQF Level 7 (BCom Degree in Marketing, Finance, or General Business, or Recognized Prior Learning (RPL) with 10 years of relevant experience in the industry)
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and deep knowledge of the FMCG sector
  • Experience working with franchise businesses

Advantageous:

  • 3 years of experience as an Area Manager is preferred
  • Proven ability to thrive in dynamic environments and navigate ambiguity
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Advanced business management skills or a desire to develop them further

  • Proactively driving profitability and implementing regional growth initiatives
  • Building and nurturing relationships with dealers and stakeholders to ensure long-term success
  • Measuring retail efficiency standards and ensuring HSEQ compliance across the network
  • Maximizing profitability within the region
  • Creating a safe working and shopping environment for both site staff and customers
  • Leveraging national promotions and programs to boost the profitability of the dealer network
