Fidelity Vacancies – Area Manager – Cape Town

Purpose of the Role:
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Area Manager will oversee multiple Operations Managers to ensure client satisfaction, manage security operations, and address key areas such as client liaison, HR/IR matters, fleet management, expense control, and investigations. The role ensures security officers meet site requirements and that client needs are met efficiently and professionally.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric/Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
  • PSIRA Grade A registration
  • Valid Driver’s License with own reliable transport
  • At least 10 years’ experience in the security industry
  • Minimum of 5 years in Operational Security Management
  • Working knowledge of the Firearm Act and firearm competency
  • Staff management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • No criminal record or pending cases
  • Strong planning, administration, interpersonal communication, and client liaison skills
  • Leadership and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management

  • Maintain strong client relations and ensure quality security services
  • Manage allocated areas to meet contractual requirements
  • Ensure Security Officers adhere to contractual standards
  • Evaluate and improve service levels as needed
  • General management and supervision of security staff to ensure high performance
  • Handle administration and HR-related queries promptly
  • Liaise daily with management on operational issues
  • Submit employment forms and reports promptly
  • Conduct investigations and provide reports on incidents
  • Maintain knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Management Systems
