Introduction:
SPAR South Rand is seeking a qualified Admin Clerk – Retail Finance to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Retail Operations Manager (ROM) by providing accurate financial data to help drive retail profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with the Retail Operations team, Retailers, and Managers.
- Pull and analyze SIGMA reports for benchmarking purposes.
- Capture financial information, variance reports, and sales data for direct benchmark stores.
- Compile and accurately capture income statements for all direct stores.
- Allocate expenses and non-scan sales from SIGMA and income statements into the correct areas of benchmarks.
- Perform Excel calculations for averages, gross profits, ratios, and other financial metrics using income statements and SIGMA reports.
- Analyze and explain variances in benchmarks, comparing the latest period to previous ones.
- Create and manage Excel spreadsheets related to benchmarks.
- Ensure accuracy in all dashboards and reports for final benchmarks.
- Take meeting minutes and provide general administrative support.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric or equivalent qualification.
- Strong business acumen and financial skills.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional planning and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Level 3 Excel and SIGMA.
