Job Description
BUCO is looking for a dedicated Admin Clerk to manage essential administrative tasks that support our store operations. This role will involve maintaining accurate records, providing clerical support, and upholding BUCO’s standards of efficiency and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional relief for Reception and Cashier as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of customer invoices (debtors accounts).
  • Support inventory auditing by assisting with accurate cycle counts.
  • Prepare and consolidate month-end statements for posting, tabulating, and posting data in record books.
  • Compile and maintain business transaction records and store activities, preparing various clerical reports.
  • Complete and submit onboarding documentation for new employees promptly.
  • Assist the Store Accountant with administrative duties related to Skills Development and Employment Equity reporting.
  • Maintain Personnel Files, organize leave forms, manage WCA claims, and support disciplinary documentation.
  • Assist with recruitment administration, including job postings and application coordination.
  • Enter GRN’s and CVR’s into the system accurately; prepare, issue, and dispatch receipts and other documents.
  • Match and capture invoices with GRN’s accurately.
  • Process CVR’s efficiently to address quantity discrepancies, price differences, or returns.
  • Reconcile creditors to supplier statements accurately and on time.
  • Investigate pricing and quantity variances and report findings to management.
  • Resolve supplier queries professionally and promptly.
  • File unpaid matched GRNs, delivery notes, orders, and related documents in an organized manner.
  • Promote and embody BUCO’s company values and culture.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 qualification.
  • N4 – N6 in Business Management or Human Resources.
  • 3+ years’ experience in general administration.
