Job Description
BUCO is looking for a detail-oriented Admin Clerk to support our Knysna branch in administrative operations. This role involves key clerical responsibilities, from document management to supporting customer and inventory processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as relief for reception and cashier duties, ensuring a professional approach.
  • Accurately file customer invoices (debtors’ accounts) promptly and assist with inventory cycle counting as part of auditing procedures.
  • Organize, consolidate, and post month-end statements; maintain records for business transactions and office activities.
  • Manage administrative tasks for new employee onboarding and support the Store Accountant with skills development and employment equity (EE) reporting.
  • Maintain personnel files, sort leave forms, manage WCA claims, and document disciplinary actions.
  • Assist with recruitment tasks, including administration and job advertising.
  • Capture Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and Creditors’ Vouchers (CVRs) into the system accurately and manage invoice matching.
  • Reconcile creditors’ statements and investigate variances (price/quantity differences) as needed.
  • Resolve supplier queries professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintain organized filing for unpaid documents, GRNs, delivery notes, and orders.
  • Uphold and promote BUCO’s values and culture.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Business Management or Human Resources qualification (N4 – N6 preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of general administration experience
