Coca Cola Vacancies  – Account Manager

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is offering an exciting opportunity in the Sales department for an Account Manager position based in Ladysmith. This role is ideal for individuals with the necessary skills and experience to drive sales growth, build strong business relationships, and enhance customer service. The successful candidate will report directly to the Sales Manager.

Purpose of the Role

The Account Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective account plans to drive the profitable sales of CCBSA products. This includes identifying new business opportunities, strengthening brand loyalty, and ensuring customer excellence while achieving volume growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement new business opportunities

  • Optimize customer service and satisfaction

  • Develop and review account plans

  • Manage and grow accounts effectively

  • Maintain and manage company assets

  • Generate orders and execute promotions

  • Oversee cash and credit accounts

  • Monitor competitor activities and compile reports

Required Knowledge and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles

  • Familiarity with CCBSA product offerings

  • Merchandising and cooler management expertise

  • Trade replacement and order-taking processes

  • Credit management and basic finance knowledge

  • Analytical and numerical skills

Qualifications and Experience

  • Matric with a completed three-year sales or marketing qualification

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in an FMCG sales or marketing environment

  • Valid Code 08 driver’s license

  • Computer literacy or willingness to acquire necessary skills
