Job Overview:
Oxyon People Solutions is looking for a driven and experienced Financial Advisor to join our team, specializing in long-term insurance, short-term insurance, investments, and holistic financial planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and a passion for helping clients achieve financial security and growth through tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert financial advice on long-term insurance (life, disability, critical illness, retirement planning), short-term insurance, and investment solutions.
- Develop and manage a robust client portfolio by maintaining strong relationships and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Conduct in-depth needs analyses to create customized financial plans aligned with client goals.
- Drive business growth by prospecting new clients, meeting sales targets, and expanding market reach.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory frameworks, including FAIS, FICA, and industry legislation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and regulatory changes.
- Deliver outstanding client service with regular follow-ups and proactive financial reviews.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in long-term insurance, investments, or financial planning.
- Qualifications:
- RE5 Certification (mandatory).
- NQF Level 4 or equivalent (preferred).
- Skills:
- Expertise in long-term/short-term insurance and investment products.
- Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting targets.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- CRM and sales tools experience (advantageous).
Preferred Requirements:
- CFP or related financial planning qualification.
- Prior client-facing sales experience in financial services.
