We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager: Digital & Cyber to lead and execute audit and advisory engagements across the organization, engaging with senior and middle management. The role focuses on identifying and evaluating risks in strategic, operational, compliance, reporting, and internal control areas, with a strong emphasis on digital transformation, cybersecurity, data governance, cloud computing, AI, and evolving IT architectures.
The successful candidate will collaborate with IT, Risk, Compliance, and Business Units to ensure effective governance and risk mitigation. They will also contribute to the development and execution of the Internal Audit plan, drive innovation in audit practices, and mentor junior staff. This position requires a strategic thinker with the ability to deliver data-driven insights and promote continuous improvement in audit quality and relevance.
What You’ll Do:
Strategy and Planning
- Set the internal audit strategy and audit plan and oversee its implementation.
- Deliver on internal audit strategic objectives by developing innovative solutions to enhance risk assurance and client service.
- Continuously improve internal audit processes to strengthen partnerships with business stakeholders.
Operational / Technical
- Assist in developing the annual audit and advisory plan, including resource needs.
- Manage audit engagements to ensure timely, high-quality reports and actionable recommendations.
- Evaluate risks, controls, processes, and regulatory compliance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct complex audit work and analysis, providing draft opinions to senior management.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on governance, risk, and controls to business leaders.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders as a credible advisor.
- Stay informed on business priorities, risks, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with second-line functions to ensure efficient combined assurance.
Management and Leadership
- Lead a high-performance team through mentorship, talent development, and retention.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Financial Management
- Manage budgets effectively within projects and responsibilities.
Your Expertise:
- Minimum 5–6 years of IT audit experience, with 2 years in a management/leadership role, focusing on digital technologies, infrastructure, and IT architecture.
- Proven experience leading high-performing teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Strong track record in delivering complex projects within scope, time, and budget.
- Experience in project management.
Qualifications:
- Relevant BSc degree (minimum requirement).
- One or more of the following certifications:
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) / Professional Internal Auditor (PIA)
- Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA)
- Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
