Join Marsh’s Energy & Power Practice, a market-leading specialty team serving the Power & Renewable Energy sector across South Africa and the broader continent. We’re looking for a Senior Client Executive to support our growing portfolio of renewable energy construction projects, working alongside top-tier professionals in a fast-paced, specialized environment.
This role involves collaborating with clients, lenders, insurers, and global Marsh teams to deliver innovative risk solutions for large-scale projects. You’ll tackle complex challenges, manage insurance placements, and drive client success in a dynamic sector.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead renewable energy construction projects with a proactive, client-focused approach.
- Advise clients on insurance risk management and strategic solutions.
- Design and execute placement strategies, leveraging Marsh’s global Energy & Power network.
- Stay ahead of Power & Renewables market trends to guide client decisions.
- Build relationships internally and externally to expand service offerings.
- Oversee account progress (documentation, claims, risk engineering, payments).
- Communicate policy terms clearly and identify new business opportunities.
What You Need:
- Proven experience managing large clients in construction or renewable energy projects (insurance sector experience a plus).
- Strong collaboration skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Professional certifications/affiliations preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Analytical problem-solving ability with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and confidence in client-facing discussions.
