Senior Operations Analyst – Banking
Profession Hub is looking for a highly skilled Senior Operations Analyst to join our client’s team in Pretoria East.
Job Purpose:
To deliver first-line support to clients on banking products and facilitate the processing of electronic files efficiently.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage and process client bank files, ensuring timely updates and feedback.
- Verify and confirm file layouts with clients and submissions to the bank.
- Identify, communicate, and resolve issues by liaising with the bank or technical teams.
- Generate feedback files as per client specifications.
- Maintain accurate system records and ensure updates are processed timeously.
- Address and resolve client queries promptly.
- Keep client process documentation current and compliant.
- Validate client and bank limits regularly.
- Monitor and troubleshoot the Account Verification Service-Realtime system, escalating issues to the bank or client when necessary.
- Resolve alerts and discrepancies efficiently.
Preferred Requirements:
- Diploma in an administrative or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar operations role within banking or insurance.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Hands-on SQL experience.
- Strong understanding of banking and insurance industry processes.
