Key Responsibilities
Financial Stewardship – Manage the general ledger, prepare management accounts, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Group Consolidations & Currency Expertise – Lead consolidation processes and handle complex foreign currency transactions.
Asset & Payables Oversight – Oversee fixed asset accounting and supervise accounts payable functions.
Treasury & Risk Management – Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and insurance portfolios to optimise working capital.
Strategic Financial Planning – Develop budgets, forecasts, and ensure timely completion of audits.
Leadership & Influence – Provide strategic financial guidance, lead a high-performing team, and drive process improvements.
Education & Experience
- CA(SA) qualification
- Minimum 5 years post-articles experience, with at least 3 years in a management role
- Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills
Essential Skills
- Advanced MS Excel proficiency
- Deep knowledge of IFRS and internal control frameworks
