Driver (Medical Supply Delivery) – People Dimension
Introduction
People Dimension is seeking a reliable, physically capable, and customer-focused Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering medical supplies to hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities, ensuring timely and efficient service while maintaining strict safety protocols. Warehouse/storeman training will also be provided.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company-designated vehicle to deliver medical supplies to various locations.
- Load, unload, and transport packages, requiring physical strength and endurance.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures and incident reports.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving concerns.
- Ensure vehicle maintenance, cleanliness, and compliance with road regulations.
- Work with the team to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Valid driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
- Must have a reliable, roadworthy vehicle with up-to-date insurance and registration.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Strong time management and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and mapping apps.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in delivery or logistics.
- Familiarity with medical supplies and equipment (advantageous).
Package & Remuneration
R6,500 CTC per month (possible salary increase after probation).
