Role Summary
As a Sales Manager at ABC Worldwide, you will lead and manage a dynamic team of Sales Agents in our Contact Centre. Your role is critical in driving sales performance, ensuring productivity, maintaining quality standards, and fostering staff development. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, coaching and motivating your team, and overseeing compliance within a fast-paced sales environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Set and monitor performance, quality, and development goals for team members.
- Implement effective motivational strategies to drive sales excellence.
- Manage incentive budgets and reward high-performing agents.
- Lead career and skills development initiatives for your team.
- Resolve people-related matters, including conflict and disciplinary issues.
- Onboard and train new Sales Agents, ensuring readiness for campaigns.
- Drive achievement of project and campaign sales targets.
- Provide call resolution support and campaign-related guidance.
- Collaborate with project and campaign management teams.
- Maintain a motivated, high-performing sales team.
- Conduct coaching and performance reviews to enhance productivity.
- Ensure compliance with legislation and call structure guidelines.
- Manage capacity and address customer complaints effectively.
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric or equivalent qualification.
- RE 1 and 150 FAIS credits (advantageous).
- 3+ years of team management in a sales environment.
- 2+ years in an outbound call center.
- Financial Services experience (Long-term insurance & sales).
- Strong sales background.
- Hands-on experience with IR processes.
Skills & Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of first-line management practices.
- Familiarity with contact center systems and business processes.
- Understanding of teamwork principles, motivation, and stress management.
- Expertise in performance management (individual and team).
- Strong grasp of IR regulations and best practices.
